Georgia Power has scheduled its next round of power outages and upgrades in Effingham County for Oct. 6.
The outage will begin at 9 a.m. and could last up to eight hours.
The affected areas are:
• Highway 17 from Sand Hill Road.to south of Honeyridge Road.
• Midland Road from Go Kart Road to Highway. 17
• Includes downtown area of Pineora
The alternate date for the outage will be Oct. 7.
