A roundup at Marlow Elementary

A Marlow Elementary School coin drive raised $3,955 for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, and as a reward were given a Western Day. Faculty and staff, above, got in the spirit of the Western reward day for at Marlow Elementary as they line danced in front of the cafeteria.

Fourth grader Brandon Jones said he didn’t mind giving the $600 in coins he’d saved to the Marlow Elementary Relay For Life coin drive.

“I was saving it for a trip, but I think we got all our trips covered this year,” 9-year-old Jones said of the coins he collected in a large Pepsi bottle for four years.
