SEHS FBLA shows it’s good as gold

Ten FBLA students arrived in Atlanta on March 18 and enjoyed a weekend full of competitive events, motivational workshops and networking with students from all around Georgia who share common interests in the business field.

Ten FBLA students arrived in Atlanta on March 18 and enjoyed a weekend full of competitive events, motivational workshops and networking with students from all around Georgia who share common interests in the business field.

The SEHS FBLA came home with several notable awards. Junior Brandon Cody placed ninth in Public Speaking II; sophomore Donald Quinones placed seventh in Intro to Business Communication; junior Emilia Truluck placed sixth in Economics; and freshman Lane Christie placed eighth in Sports Management.

Along with the awards received by the students, former teacher and FBLA adviser Martha-Watring Ross received recognition as an Honorary Life Member.
