Rincon Police joins the social media age

The Rincon Police Department is joining the social media ranks — and it’s looking for some new friends.

City council members gave Chief Mike Bohannon the go-ahead to start a Facebook page for the department, and Bohannon already is working on it.

“Everybody nowadays is connected,” Bohannon said.
