South Effingham High School’s Future Business Leaders of America members brought in a variety of candy to create trick-or-treat goody bags for the Backus Children’s Hospital. Members who attended the meeting helped stuff and tie off approximately 30 treat bags.

Once the meeting adjourned, advisor Debra Bradley then took the treat bags to Mrs. Hitt at the Backus Children’s Hospital. After giving the patients the treat bags, Mrs. Hitt said, “I want to thank you and your students for the wonderful donation of Halloween goodie bags. Smiles were brought to our patient’s faces with the delivery of the bags. Thank you again for thinking of our special patients.”
