Harbor Signs won first place among parade floats. The West Chatham Marine Corps League Detachment 1326 won second place, and Countryside Baptist Church took third place.

Festival and parade committee members recognized were Vickie Lee, Susie Davis, Gloria Norton, Frank Owens, Rachel Jackson and Bernard Martin, and city staff members recognized for their efforts included Police Chief Phillip Scholl, Lameisha Kelly, Dulcia King, Travis Grubbs, Susan Wise, public works director Tim Bowles and Fire Chief Corey Rahn.

“We look forward to bigger and better things next year,” said Mayor Ken Lee. “The laser show exceeded our expectations tremendously. I had no idea we were going to have the response we had. It was wonderful. The whole weekend turned out great.”
