Thirteen acts performed in South Effingham High School’s annual talent show, a fundraiser for the school’s drama and choral departments.

Freshman Ansley Norris was the overall winner with a ballet dance she choreographed herself.

The band of Dallas McCorkendale, Parker Gordy, Christian Howard, Jason Bronson and John Sares took second place overall with their performance of "Johnny B. Goode."

Angel Wade took home the best vocal award, and the best dance award went to Jordan Boomgarden and Colton Guidotti.

Judged as the best band was the quartet of David Collins, Dylan Moore, Parker Gordy and Cody Jonas.
