Trey and Tyler Moody, twin brothers and members of Boy Scout Troop 665 in Rincon, received recognition for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in an Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony in their honor on May 12, at the Rincon United Methodist Church.

Ken Luikart, scoutmaster for Troop 665, was the moderator for the evening where several other Eagle Scouts and members of the troop participated in the ceremony.

On their journey to Eagle Scout Trey earned 36 merit badges, camped out 110 nights and hiked 136 miles. Tyler earned 34 merit badges, camped out 115 nights and hiked 144 miles. Both of their individual Eagle projects benefited local schools.

Their parents are Walter and Michelle Moody and Mark and Annette Bryant.  Their grandparents are Allan and Lynette Theisen of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Karl and Enid Moody of Garden City.

Both are currently enrolled at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
