Gulfstream taps Beck to manage airworthiness and certification

Gulfstream Aerospace has appointed Anthony Beck manager of airworthiness and certification. In this position, he will be responsible for all airworthiness and certification activities related to aircraft certification programs.

Beck also will maintain relationships with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and foreign certification authorities.

Beck joined Gulfstream in 1997 as a mechanic and assistant crew chief at the Savannah Service Center. He was an auditor in production quality assurance. Most recently, he served as a lead certification specialist for the G350, G450, G500 and G550 business jets for the airworthiness department.  

Prior to Gulfstream, Beck served 10 years in the U.S. Army, including all U.S.-led military conflicts in the past decade.  He is currently a master sergeant in the Georgia Air National Guard.

Beck earned a bachelor’s degree in professional aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  He holds an airframe and powerplant license.  

Beck, his wife, Laurie, and their three children reside in Guyton.
