John Mark Counts, vice president of AgSouth Farm Credit in Sylvania,  recently announced that Kendra Z. Durrence (formerly Kendra Zittrouer) has joined AgSouth Mortgages, a subsidiary of AgSouth Farm Credit.

Durrence has been hired as a mortgage originator and will be working out of the Sylvania office.

She is a graduate of Effingham County High School and moved to Sylvania last year when she married her husband Stephen, owner of Refinish Decorative Concrete. The couple attends Antioch Christian Church.

She has spent the last two years as an administrative assistant for the secondary mortgage market in the Statesboro office of AgSouth.

“We are very pleased to welcome Kendra to AgSouth,” Counts said. “She brings a wealth of financial and home loan knowledge to her position as mortgage originator. She will be a great asset to us in furthering our home loan program throughout our territory.”
