Senior mortgage loan officer Karen Spence, of SunTrust Mortgage Savannah, was named to the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia’s (MBAG) board of governors at their 37th annual convention in May of this year.
Spence is vice president and senior mortgage loan officer for SunTrust Mortgage, Savannah.
She has been involved in the mortgage industry for 19 years, five of those at her current post.
She is a member of the Home Builders Association, Savannah Chamber of Commerce, Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, Sales and Marketing Council of Savannah, and the Savannah Board of Realtors.
Her family includes her husband, Jimmey; son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Kristen Kessler; and grandson, Caden.
