State Sen. Jack Hill of Reidsville was the commencement speaker at graduation ceremonies for Class 32 of the Fort Stewart-based National Guard Youth Challenge Academy on June 20 at the Macon City Auditorium.

Hill is also an ex-officio member of the Senate Education and Youth Committee. One member of Class 32 was 17-year-old Diah C. Nelson of College Park who is the 6,000th graduate of Georgia’s Youth Challenge Academy.
