The First Baptist Church of Springfield will be hosting a 13-week course called Financial Peace University beginning Wednesday. The class will meet weekly from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This program teaches you how to achieve financial goals by eliminating debt, saving for the future and giving that brings fulfillment. You will be challenged and motivated to make a plan for your money and change your family tree forever.

Financial Peace University (FPU) is a 13-week curriculum — taught via video — by financial expert Dave Ramsey that incorporates small-group discussions to encourage accountability and personal growth. Financial Peace University is entertaining, with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice and biblical messages. More than 1 million families have already had their lives changed by attending FPU. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in just 90 days.
