ATLANTA-Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp announced Monday that following the state's June 22 lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the DOJ consented to preclearance of the state's voter verification process, including verification of U.S. citizenship. Rincon looks at recycling options for city residents

Rincon is continuing to explore a recycling program for the city. City Manager Michael Phillips said he is talking with Pratt Industries and Waste Management, the city's sanitation contractor about a recycling dropoff center.
