Mr. and Mrs. James M. Barrett of Brooklet are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mallory Ruth Barrett to William Michael Bailey. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael M. Bailey of Brooklet.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen S. Williams of Leefield and the late Mr. Charlie G. Williams. She is also granddaughter to Mrs. Eleanor E. Barrett of Medford, N.J., and the late Mr. James F. Barrett. Mallory is a 2005 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. Mallory is currently a Pre-K teacher at Guyton Elementary School in Effingham County.

The groom-elect is the grandson to Mrs. Ernestine E. Webb of Bloomingdale and the late Mr. Carl J. Webb. He is also grandson of Mr. William F. Sr. and Mrs. Helen N. Bailey of Guyton. Will a 2006 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School in Brooklet. Will is currently employed as a diesel mechanic at TICO Investment Corporation in Savannah.

The wedding is planned for June 11, 2011, at New Hope United Methodist Church at 5 p.m. in Statesboro. The reception will follow at Meldrim Woods Plantation at 6:30 in the evening in Brooklet.  All family and friends are invited to attend.

The couple will reside in Brooklet.
