Mr. and Mrs. Perry R. Mincey of Rincon are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Paige Alexis Mincey, to Matthew James Mercer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Mercer of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Harold Clifton of Savannah, Linda M. Reading of California, the late Henry R. Mincey of Rincon and Miriam S. Lee of North Carolina. Paige is a 2005 graduate of South Effingham High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from Wingate University in 2009 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from College of Coastal Georgia in 2011. She is employed by Memorial University Medical Center as a registered nurse.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Patricia H. Coleman, the late James H. Horne of Savannah and the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn P. Mercer of Port Wentworth. Matthew is a 2004 graduate from South Effingham High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. He is employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital as a registered nurse.

An evening wedding in April is planned at the Charles H. Morris Center in Savannah. They plan to honeymoon in Costa Rica and will reside in Rincon.
