Mr. and Mrs. Mark Anderegg of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Cale, to Jere Arden Wilson, son of Mrs. Stephanie Wilson of Tybee Island.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otha F. Powell of Palatka, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Anderegg of Fithian, Illinois.

Mary Cale graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art/Ceramics and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education. She is employed by the Effingham County Board of Education as an art teacher at South Effingham High School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Harry T. Evans, and the late Mr. Evans, of Augusta, Georgia.

Jere is a student at Savannah Technical Institute in the Emergency Medical Technology program. He is employed by The Sentient Bean in Savannah.

An evening wedding is planned for June 2, 2012 in the grand ballroom of American Legion Post 135, Savannah.

The couple plan to make their home in Savannah.
