Mr. Gary Jenkins and Mrs. Teresa Jenkins of Nevils announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lee Jenkins of Guyton, to Charles James Grubbs II of Guyton, son of Mr. Charlie Grubbs of Estill, S.C., and Mrs. Melisa Grubbs of Rincon.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of C. Herbert Lee and the late Elma Dixon Lee of Augusta and the late Roger “Buck” Jenkins and Louise Jenkins of Nevils.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Rebecca Roberts of Monroe and the late J.B. Roberts of Monroe and the late Charles McDonald Grubbs and Anna Lyons Grubbs of Ridgeland, S.C.

The couple plans to wed on June 9, 2012 at 6:30 in the evening at Meldrim Woods Plantation in Brooklet, with a reception to follow.
