Mr. Ricky Seckinger Sr. of Sylvania and Ms. Linda Davis of Oliver announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Seckinger Pitts, to Ronald Heath DuBois, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Richard DuBois Sr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Helen Stokes and the late J.W. Stokes of Sylvania, and the late Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Seckinger of Sylvania. Stephanie received a bachelor of science in sociology with an emphasis in social work from Georgia Southern University and is currently employed with Hall and Kirkland, P.C. in Springfield.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ivanowski of Savannah and Martha DuBois of Sylvania and the late Alfred DuBois of Savannah. Ronnie is employed with Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro and is currently enrolled in the nuclear reactor operator program.

The couple has planned to wed on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Oliver’s on 24 in Oliver, and the reception will follow at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Helen Stokes.
