Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Marvin Hamilton of Gum Branch are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Marie Hamilton, to Julian Edwin Pace IV. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Dorothy Larrabee Wells and the late Edgar Scott Wells Sr. of Gum Branch. She is also the granddaughter of John Raymond and Alice Munday Frederick of Satsuma, Fla.


The groom-to-be is the son of Julian Edwin and Tracey Embly Pace III of Clyo. He is the grandson of Sandra McDuffie Embly and the late Clayton Aldean Embly of Sylvania. He is also the grandson of Julian Edwin and Linda Noonan Pace II of Effingham.


The couple met at Armstrong Atlantic State University where they both will be completing their bachelor’s degree. The bride-to-be is pursuing a bachelor of arts in psychology. The groom-to-be is a musician and is completing his bachelor of arts in music.


An evening wedding is being planned for Jan. 19, 2013, at the Main Post Chapel on Fort Stewart.
