Mr. and Mrs. Alan T. Heidt are proud to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Morgan Alicia, to Joshua Collins, son of Mr. Stephen Collins and Mrs. Clara Barnes, both of Guyton.

Morgan is the granddaughter of Mrs. Libby Heidt and the late Mr. Eddie Heidt of Springfield and the late Mr. W.A. Rahn Jr. of Rincon. Morgan is a 2008 graduate of Effingham County High School. She is a 2012 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. She is employed with the Effingham County Board of Education.

Joshua is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bartimus Williams Cubbedge Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Inman Morgan of Guyton. He is also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Collins of Guyton.

Joshua is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School. He is a 2010 graduate of Marine Mechanic Institute in Orlando, Fla. He is employed with Lewis Goetz of Savannah.

Morgan and Joshua will be married on May 11, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will be held at New Providence Baptist Church n Guyton. The reception will immediately follow at the home of the bride at 475 Eugene Gnann Road, Springfield. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
