The children of Wiley and Rosalyn Thomas of Springfield would like to invite family and friends to a celebration of their parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The celebration will be held on Sunday, May 15 at a drop-in reception from 2-4 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas were married on April 26, 1961 at the First Baptist Church of Springfield by Rev. Carl Milton.

Wiley is a 1956 graduate of Effingham Academy, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, faithful husband, father and grandfather, and the owner of Wiley’s Home Center in Rincon. Rosalyn is a 1960 graduate of Effingham County High School, an accomplished homemaker, faithful wife, mother and grandmother, and an employee of Wiley’s Home Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas are active in The First Baptist Church of Springfield where they both have been members for over 60 years.
