Effingham Chamber of Commerce and representatives from Badcock watch as Norman Mattice, manager of the Rincon store, uses a giant pair of scissors to cut the ribbon to officially mark the remodeled Backcock Home Furniture & More's opening.

Badcock remodeled the store over four and a half months, and the 20,000 square foot establishment remained open during that time. The store has been open in Rincon since 1994.
