The 2011 Leadership Effingham Class finished their year by presenting class group projects June 30 in the County Commission meeting room in Springfield.

The class divided into three project groups and gave presentations on business and industry, tourism and the Effingham Scenic Byway, and Effingham Hospital. The projects focused on things they believed were needed and of benefit to the community.

Representatives from Effingham County, the cities of Springfield and Rincon and the school board were present to hear the ideas.

The 2012 Leadership Class will start this fall.
