Irrigation workshop to be held in Statesboro

The Ogeechee River Soil and Water Conservation District will host an irrigation workshop entitled “Looking to the Future: Advances in Irrigation,” on Sept. 8 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Bulloch County Center for Agriculture in Statesboro.

The workshop will cover a variety of topics relating to agriculture and irrigation in Georgia, including: subsurface drip irrigation, irrigation equipment and controls, and irrigation scheduling. Lunch will be included for workshop participants. This event is limited to 100 participants.
