Rick Rafter has been re-elected as chairman of the Effingham County Hospital Authority.

The authority chose its officers at its meeting Tuesday night, opting to keep the same slate. Tommy Exley will remain as vice-chairman and Patricia Ann Yarbrough will remain as secretary.

Authority members also presented CEO Norma Jean Morgan with a portrait that will hang in the new modernization space. Authority members also expressed their gratitude to Morgan for her leadership in guiding the hospital.
