Lowe’s, One-Stop Center preparing for job fair

Lowe’s of Rincon will have a job fair this Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Effingham One-Stop Career Center on Highway 119 South in Springfield.

Attendees will be able to apply and interview for a number of temporary, seasonal and permanent part-time positions, as well as a few full-time opportunities.

The One-Stop Career Center is a partnership between the Effingham County Commissioners, Coastal Workforce Investment Board and the Georgia Department of Labor to provide a high quality workforce for companies in Effingham County and the coastal region.

"We’re trying to get employers to realize that Effingham One-Stop is for more than just the unemployed and the job seekers. It’s for employers’ use as well," said Janet Jones, sub-regional coordinator for Coastal Workforce Services.Delete - Merge Up
