The Rotary Club of Effingham, Sunrise, celebrated a successful year ending in June.

Billy Dasher was named Rotarian of the Year and incoming president, Solomon Smith took the gavel from last year’s president, Jamie Kreyenbuhl.

The Sunrise Rotary Club meets at the Guyton Christian Church Center, 105 Third Street in Guyton, Tuesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. More information is available on their Web site, www.EffinghamRotary.org.
