New CASAs sworn in

Six new CASA volunteers were sworn in by Judge William Woodrum.

Lainie Jenkins, executive director, joins CASA’s six new Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)  who have been sworn in by Judge William Woodrum after completing 40 hours of training and courtroom observation.

CASA volunteers speak up in court for the best interests of the children; it is CASA’s mission to ensure that every abused and neglected child in the Ogeechee Circuit has a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.

CASA for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit serves the children in Bulloch, Effingham, Jenkins and Screven counties. For more information on becoming a volunteer, you may email joincasa@gmail.com.
