Effingham business leaders enjoyed lunch at the Effingham Career Academy for a Lunch and Learn featuring guest speaker online community manager for Paula Deen Enterprises, Lisa Scarbrough. She enlightened them on Paula Deen’s rise to fame and some of her business practices, including benefits for all 350 of Deen’s employees, even the waiters, and promoting from within.

Scarbrough also explained the importance of an online presence and how to use online media outlets to reach customers.
