The city of Rincon will observe Halloween 2012 on Oct. 31 from 6-9 p.m. and the Rincon Police Department will be out in force to help ensure safety in the neighborhoods.
Citizens are reminded to practice safety by having adults accompany all children to each residence and to wear reflective attachments with their clothing, carry a flashlight and to ensure all vehicles pulling trailers have the proper lighting.
Parents are encouraged to inspect all candy prior to allowing children to consume the candy. Any food products that appear to have been tampered with should be discarded.
