Parker’s recently presented an iPad to Kathy Morgan of Guyton, the winner of the Parker’s September Text to Win contest.

 “I’ve never won anything before,” said Morgan, who works as a purchasing agent at the Effingham County Board of Education. “I’m really excited. I’ve been wanting an iPad for a while. I’m really looking forward to using it.”

Morgan entered the contest after reading about it on the Parker’s Facebook page. The monthly contest, which offers rotating prizes and merchandise, encourages customers to text a specific number to enter the giveaway. The contest is promoted at all area Parker’s stores as well as on the company’s social media channels.
