Manna House is extending its thanks to the community for sending donations and hosting food drives.

Several supporting churches have held food drives and sent donations of money. Manna House has also received donations through FORCE (Food Outreach Coop of Effingham) in collaboration with school food drives.

Maurices Clothing store hosted a drive that raised 860 items. EMD Chemicals of Savannah held a food drive and collected enough food to fill a grocery cart.

The donations will help in the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance.

For more information on assistance or to make a donation contact Lisa Bush at 665-1985.
