Rincon scares up contest winners

There were 39 entries in this year’s Rincon scarecrow contest, sponsored by the Rincon Recreation Department.

Winners in the business/church/non-profit category were: first place, YMCA; second place, 21 Auto Repair; and third place, DeWitt Insurance Agency.

Winners in the residential category were: first place, Louise Tirpak; second, Ronald and Tracey Freeman; and third, 319 Plantation Drive.
