Effingham Community Orchestra publicity coordinator B.V. Cooper presented a Fender acoustic guitar to raffle winner Ivan Anzur. During September and October, orchestra musicians and volunteers sold raffle tickets for a new acoustic Fender guitar.

The next opportunity to hear the Effingham Community Orchestra in concert is Dec. 2, when the orchestra will present its sixth annual Holiday Concert and Homemade Cookie Sale. The concert will be presented at 3 p.m. in the Effingham County Recreation Parks gymnasium, 808 Highway 119 South in Springfield. Admission is free.
