	Legion donates to Civil Air Patrol

American Legion Post 209 made a donation to the Effingham Civil Air Patrol Cadet Squadron GA-453. The donation will be used to purchase equipment and items to fund squadron projects. The Effingham Civil Air Patrol thanked the American Legion post for its donation to the youth in our community.

The American Legion is in Springfield at 941 South Laurel St. They meet on the second Thursday each month. The Civil Air Patrol meets in Rincon at 226 Goshen Rd. every Monday night at 6:30 p.m.
