The Effingham County commissioners honored the Effingham Cyclones, who completed a perfect season in the fall Athena League against teams from across the state.
Coaches are Scott Kessler and Keith Miller and team members are Claire Bergner, Makayla Brant, Kailey Kessler, Savannah Leslie, Kylie Malcom, Sydney Martinez, Megan Miller, Selena Osborne, Hayden Overstreet, Anna Phillips, Taylor Poore, Makenzi Rogers, Megan Small, Brianna Stewart, Mackenzie Stewart, Madison Thornton and Madeline Weiss.
Commissioners Vera Jones, Phil Kieffer, Steve Mason and Reggie Loper and Chairman Dusty Zeigler congratulated the team.
