The Effingham County Board of Education honored eight retirees at it 2011 Retirement Reception. Supervisors for each of the retirees in attendance told about their time in the Effingham County school system and shared fond memories of working with them.

Pictured are: James Goldwire, Linda Easterling and Martha Patnaude from the transportation department; Mary Jenkins of South Effingham Elementary; Sarah Ford from Effingham County High; Christine Brundage from Marlow Elementary; Nancy Morgan from Ebenezer Elementary; and from the central office, Trudie Sapp.

Not pictured are: Anthony Mastrianni, Cindy Maguiar, Robert Porterfield, Maureen O’Bryan, Brooks Sorrier, Claudia Roberts, Nancy Johnson and Virginia Spano.
