The Rincon Elementary Junior Beta Club recently completed its first service project. The club members made goody baskets for the residents of Lakeview Manor Community in Springfield.

Students voluntarily gave up a recess period to assemble the items in the baskets and write personal notes to the residents.

Three club members were able to help deliver the baskets and visit with the residents. Isabella Castillo, Nadia Garcia and Kyle MacPherson enjoyed their afternoon activity of meeting new people. They were assisted by honorary club member, Will Kieffer, who is a student at RES, also.
