Miller earns dean’s list at Florida State University

Ashia Miller was placed on the dean’s list at Florida State University for the spring 2011 school term.

Ashia Kendra Dimiya Miller, an upcoming senior music major at Florida State University, was placed on the dean’s list for the spring 2011 school term.

She is the daughter of Gilbert and Dorothy Miller. She is a native of Meldrim, where she graduated from South Effingham High School in 2008. She was an active member of the Future Business Leaders of America, United States Achievement Academy, Spanish Honors Society and the SEHS Marching Band.

She is currently seeking a Bachelor of Arts in General Music with a concentration in French horn from the FSU College of Music. She is also featured as a fashion model in the Spring 2011 issue of SWATCH magazine in Tallahassee, Fla.
