New officers for SEMS FFA

The South Effingham Middle School FFA chapter held its annual banquet May 21. During the banquet students who participated in career development events, exhibited livestock and those who earned their Discovery Degree were recognized and presented certificates during the ceremony. 

The 2010-11 chapter officers were retired and the 2011-12 officers were installed.

Officers for 2011-12 will be: Malissa Powell, president;  Caroline Sapp, vice president; John Conner, secretary; Marissa Powell, treasurer; Ashtian Kessler, reporter; and Tiana Gordon, sentinel.

Last year’s officers were: Daniel Helmey, president; Dakota Scott, vice president; Harrold Wheeler, secretary; Malissa Powell, treasurer; Caroline Sapp, reporter; and John Conner, sentinel.
