November is National Parent Engagement Month and Rincon Elementary School encourages and welcomes parental involvement. In an effort to recognize valuable parents of students at RES, the school is continuing to salute parents for their hard work and commitment. Natarsha House has been selected for the “Parent of Month” award for November at Rincon Elementary School.

She is the mother of De’Ja and Desmond House. House is dedicated to her children and her children’s teachers. She is supportive to her children with ensuring that they are ready and prepared for school on a daily basis.

When asked what is one of her favorite parenting moments, she said, “When I mix in a learning experience and use myself as an example.”

Not only does she do whatever is asked of her for the classroom, she doesn’t show partiality to her own children, but works for the entire class.
