Effingham County High School senior

Dylan Sewell has received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. With this appointment comes a scholarship which will cover the cost of room, board, tuition books and clothing and all other essentials for all four years of college.

A Naval Academy education is one of the most prestigious opportunities in the U.S. and is valued, according to Naval Academy officials, at more than $400,000.
