The Effingham County 4-H held its annual Junior-Senior awards banquet at Effingham County High School.

Danielle Paulk, president of the Senior Club, began the evening with live music. Paulk, the daughter of Schel and Terri Paulk, also was the recipient of a Richard C. Kessler Leadership Scholarship, as was Natalie Starling, daughter of Skip and Nathalie Starling.

State project winners — Paulk and Lauren Thompson — each received a silver tray from the county Extension office. Amanda Starling, daughter of Skip and Nathalie Starling, received the Dean’s Award.
