James Rotureau will lead this year’s Southern Pride drum line at Georgia Southern University.

He is a junior and is a nursing major, with a grade point average of 4.0. He also was a 2012 SOAR orientation leader and the 2012-13 recipient of the East Georgia Regional Auxiliary Nursing Scholarship.

Rotureau is a 2010 graduate of Effingham County High School, where he was the captain of the drum line. His parents are Joe and Vicki Rotureau of Guyton.
