Parker’s pumps up schools

Parker Companies pumped $3,000 of the proceeds from its “Fueling the Community” Wednesdays into the Effingham County School System.

Parker’s stores donate to local schools one cent from every gallon of gas sold on the first Wednesday of each month.

“This is fun for us,” said Greg Parker, CEO of Parker Companies. “The single most important thing we can do in terms of connection to a community is to give back for education.”
