The Effingham County High School Beta Club recently held a blanket drive challenging students and teachers to donate new or gently-used blankets to needy families.

Fifty-two blankets were collected and delivered to Manna House. The club has sent volunteers and partnered with Manna House on many projects in helping in the community. The blankets will help families that may be homeless or do not have heat this winter.

For more information or to make a donation, contact Lisa Bush at 665-1985. Manna House is located at 1210 Patriot Dr. in Rincon across from the YMCA.
