South Effingham High School students will show their talents in the fourth annual SEHS Student Talent Show Extravaganza on March 1 in the school cafetorium, starting at 6:30 p.m.

The talent show, sponsored by the Stomping Stangs Book Club and the Model U.N., will feature 20 performances, including bands, skits, singers and dancers.

All acts will be scored by a panel of judges, and prizes will be awarded for the top three acts. The audience will have the opportunity to participate in the judging by voting on an Audience Choice Award.

Along with the prizes for the winning acts, some contestants will go on to perform in the Effingham Idol show as part of the Olde Effingham Days festival on April 13.

The proceeds from this year’s talent show will support SEHS student scholarships and other Stomping Stangs activities. Tickets for all ages are $4 in advance and $5 at the door on the night of the show.
