	School board starts work on budget Projections call for $1.9M shortfall

Initial projections for the Effingham County School District's FY14 budget are for expenses ($82.6 million) to exceed revenue ($80.7 million), but Superintendent Randy Shearouse is confident the shortfall can be made up with an 'over-collection' of local taxes.
