Garvin to preach first sermon Sunday

Minister Jarrett D. Garvin will give his initial sermon Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Deliverance Center. The church is at 200 Stokes Ave. in Rincon.

 
Garvin is a native of Springfield. He is the son of Douglas and Lynnette Garvin. He is the eldest of four children. He is the grandson  of  Nellie Mae and Israel Garvin and Ella and Floyd Wallace, and Hazel and Willie Manier. He graduated in 2004 from Effingham County High School. He also attended South College with a major in business administration.


He is an inventory specialist at Gulfstream Aerospace.
